Private Workshop: Handbuilding

Service Description

Discover the joy of working with clay in this private, hands-on workshop, designed to introduce the essential techniques of ceramic making. Each participant will create their own functional ceramic pieces using a range of techniques, such as pinching, coil building, and slab construction, and possibly explore surface decoration and glazing, to allow each piece to develop a personal character from form to finish. With up to four participants, this private workshop ensures close guidance and individual attention at every stage of the process. After the workshop, we will take care of double firing your pieces, and when they emerge from the kiln, they’ll be ready for you to collect, use, and treasure.
