Introduction to Wheel Throwing

Class Description

➤ 3-hour workshop, in English ➤ 2–4 participants, ages 13+ ➤ €55 per participant ➤ All materials included ➤ No prior experience needed This private hands-on workshop offers a guided introduction to the art of wheel throwing. You’ll begin by getting acquainted with the clay and learning fundamental techniques: wedging, centering, opening, and pulling the walls to shape your vessel. With close individual guidance you will create 1–3 pieces — perhaps a small bowl, cup, or petite vase — and enjoy the satisfying experience of forming them on the wheel. At the end of the workshop we will offer to finish one or two of your pieces - trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and high temperature firing, making it ready for you to use and treasure. Please allow 3 weeks for finishing your pieces, collect them from the studio or have them delivered to you at the standard shipping costs.
