Handbuilding for Beginners

Class Description

➤ 15-hours in the studio, in English ➤ Up to 4 participants, adults ➤ €200 per participant ➤ All materials included This 5-week course is dedicated to the fundamentals of working with clay using a variety of handbuilding techniques. Meeting once a week, the course invites participants to slow down, explore material, and build a strong foundation in handbuilt ceramics. Throughout the course, each participant will create their own functional ceramic pieces using a range of techniques, including pinching, coil building, and slab construction. We will also explore surface decoration and glazing, allowing each piece to develop a personal character from form to finish. The course is kept small, with up to four participants, ensuring close guidance and individual attention at every stage of the process.
